Laurent directed a commercial for Joop’s new fragrance “thrill”. The ad is expected to make it onto the air spring 2009.

Yesterday was a good day. Among other things I’ve learned that I’ll be shooting a video for death cab for cutie in December. I am really eager to start working on this. This project should be very different from everything I’ve done so far.

Daníel Ã?gúst’s album “swallowed a star” is finally going to be released by One Little Indian. Do yourself a favor and go check it out, it’s a really unique album, really beautiful.
While you are at it, go visit Bix’s site. Bix worked with Daníel on this album. You can find on his website a very good remix of Daníel’s first single “If You Leave Me Now”.

The video airing in europe and asia is a “first” version. We had to meet the deadline for international release, but then worked some more it. Same edit, but more refined work on the post production side. I’ll be posting a quicktime of it as soon as I get the green light from warner. Working with mike, ryu, tak, cheapshot and bobo was really great. Glad to be done, glad to be back home.
